New Skill:Ward Against Item Bearers
Ward Against Item Bearers------Energy:15 Cast:1 Recharge:20
Ward Spell. Create a Ward Against Item Bearers at target foe's location. For 10....18...21 seconds, any foes carrying an Item move 80% slower until they exit the Ward or drop the item. All other foes move 30% slower while in the Ward. (Attribute:Earth Magic)
THIS HAS BEEN EDITED AND BUFFED
Another Skill:
Healer's Pain-------Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:20
Elite Spell. Sacrifice 10% max health. All of your Monk skills are disabled for 10...5....4 seconds. Target foe suffers 15...63...79 shadow damage. All of target foe's non-recharging Healing Prayers, Protection Prayers, and Divine Favor skills are disabled for 2...5...6 seconds and for each skill disabled, target foe suffers an additional 5....29 damage. This additional damage is capped out at 90.
Note that it only does more damage for each skill that was NOT recharging so you can't spike with this any better than you could spike with Discord.

How can you say that? Think what it's like to slow a flag runner to near stop speed. You can't only think about item spells, flags are item too, so are repair kits, rez orb, relics in HA, they're all items.

Foes is superior.
* Works for monks kiting also.
* Doesn't have a 2 second cast time. (interuption problems)

Since when was a ward placed on an enemy? Just use Ice Prison if you want to slow a flag runner, or Mind Freeze for 90% reduced speed.

Both of those 2 are vulnerable to hex removal. There's no way that you can remove a ward.

Too much energy?
2 seconds casting?
Very crappy recharge.
It is a interesting idea, but the skill you showed us... is bad

Less energy, more slowdown, and you can target the ward on foes instead of having to be in the area.
Also don't tell me to use mind freeze, that only lasts 6 seconds and causes exhaustion, not to mention it totally SUCKS when you have less energy.
Why can't you see the potential of this?
In HA you can stop people from carrying flags or res orbs with this.
In GvG you can stop flag runners and repair kit runners with this.
I can't see how someone can be a moderator without knowing how to stop and think before opening his mouth.

heh, except arkantos is right :P anything thats extremely specific like item holder is never gonna get used. Something thats reliable and useful in many situations will always be preferred.

In both HA and GvG 50% slowdown plus the other snares/knockdowns should be enough. 50% on everyone > 80% conditional.
I did stop and think before I posted, and I still think that foes would be better then this along with many others.

Reading some of your proposed skill changes in another thread, I wouldn't listen to anything closely related to skill design coming from you. I think the idea behind this skill is stupid and even if the skill existed I would take Foes over it.

Except that not everyone is important enough to be slowed.
I suggest to change the conditional slow to 90%, same as Mind Freeze. And unconditional slow to 50%. Also, change the statis to Elite Ward. Now it's an enhanced version of again foe. To make it make more sense, change the name to Ward of Heavy Gravity.

1) Not needed.
2) Will not add new gameplay.
3) Noone will use it.

Is this trolling?
1) There's no way to be sure of that. There's lots of other skills in GW also "Not needed".
2) Again, you can't be sure of that. The metagame will change to new skills added.
3) "No one" is just a too absolute term. I, for one, will use it. So you're wrong!
Your logic has failed to make sense

Trolling? - Hardly, Common sense? - I hope so. Do not personal attack me, as I do not personal attack you, are we clear? - Good. On subject.
1) Yes, there are a lot of useless skills, however, that is irrelevant. Why would you want another useless skill?
2) I meant this skill, it will not add new gameplay, as it is just a weak version of Foes.
3) This was meant for serious GvG gameplay. No one is a fairly loose term when talking about subjects such as these.
